From the North
From I-87 (Northway), take Exit 21 and head south on Route 9N for about 10 miles towards Lake Luzerne. You’ll pass a white Catholic Church on the right, and then Hadley-Luzerne High School on the right, across from Wayside Beach on Lake Luzerne. Turn right onto Mill St. across from the beach. Bear left at the old green and white schoolhouse and continue past the bank on the right. When you reach Stone’s Pharmacy at the intersection, turn right onto County Rd. 4 and go for 2.5 miles.
Turn left onto County Rd. 7 (you’ll see a brown and white Stewarts Pond sign with an arrow pointing left). Cross over Stewarts Dam and take a right at the large intersection. Our camp is 3/4 mile up on the right, just after the large red barn. Turn left immediately after the red barn. The small red building behind the gray house is our Office/Store, where you will stop to register.
If you arrive after hours, your map will be on the office door. Please stop by to make your payment before noon the following day.
From the South
Take the NY State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 24. Continue on I-87 (now the Northway) to Exit 18 (Glens Falls). Turn left and travel about 10 miles until you reach a red flashing light (stop sign). Turn left, cross the bridge into Corinth, and at the red light, turn right. Continue north on Route 9N for 1.5 miles. Look for brown and yellow signs on the right for Sacandaga Lake and Stewarts Pond. Turn left onto Antone Rd. (which becomes County Route 7, or South Shore Rd.) and travel 3 miles.
Our campground entrance is 1 mile ahead on the right, where you’ll see a large red barn and a Stewarts Pond sign.
From the East
Take I-90 to the NY State Thruway north, then follow the directions on our website under “From the South.
From the West
Take the NY State Thruway (I-90) East to Exit 27. Then, follow Route 30 North over Route 29. Continue straight past the flashing light (DO NOT turn left onto 30 North!). Continue to Monument, then bear left onto Route 110, which changes to Route 13, and eventually turns into County Route 7 (South Shore Rd.). Travel for 30 miles on this road. Our brown camp sign will appear on the left. Turn in just before the large red barn on the right. The office is located behind the gray house.
